Fickle Public at In The City - Bruce Dickinson Interested
Fickle Public descend on an unsuspecting Manchester this weekend to dish out some more rock action at In The City 2005. The band will perform as part of the Glasswerk Fringe Festival on Sunday October 2nd at The Dry Bar. Glasswerk's fantastically ambitious project involves seventy five bands performing on two stages over four days. On Fickle's night they will be playing with Young Offenders Institute, The Deadbeats and White Rose Movement among many others.
Headliners at the event include, Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster (Friday), Misty's Big Adventure (Saturday) Mark Morriss (Monday). Doors are at 2pm each day, entry is £5.00 in advance per day and limited tickets are available from the outlets listed below. We're advised that tickets for the Friday evening are in very short supply. Our thanks are extended to the Glasswerk team for their continued STA support.
In other Fickle Public news, the foursome are continuing to win fans and influence people with their debut single (new release date on that by the way 24th October). 'Kittens Got Claws' has picked up plays on Rob Da Bank's Radio One Show (22.09.05) and Bruce Dickinson's Rock Show on 6Music (24.09.05). Bring your daughter to the slaughter... The track has also been added to the Music Choice 'Harder Than Hell' playlist this week along with
Audioslave's new single 'Doesn't Remind Me'. Music Choice is available on Sky Digital (Channels 498 and 499)
